Overview

Spendflo provides a user-friendly chat functionality to facilitate seamless collaboration. Our customers can easily interact with both their internal teams and Spendflo representatives to get answers to their inquiries, receive procurement updates, assign tasks, and more. Simply type '@' followed by the person's name you want to chat with, and you're all set to start the conversation.

Now, let us delve into the process of utilizing this feature.

There are two ways to access the Chat feature:

1. From the ‘Procurement Requests’ and ‘Vendor Management’ pages

2. From the Dashboard

Accessing chat from Procurement Request and Vendor Management Page

Procurement Requests

To access the chat feature within Procurement Requests, navigate to the request detail page of any specific request from Buying>Proccurement Requests and open any purchase request.

Upon opening the details page, you will find the procurement comments section, allowing you to engage in chat-based collaboration directly within the Spendflo App. By using the "@" symbol followed by the person's name, you can tag individuals and initiate conversations.

Please not that only users who have been onboarded onto the Spendflo App can view and be tagged in the associated comments and chat threads'

It's important to highlight that the chat feature operates on an individual thread dedicated to each Procurement Request or Contract

Vendor Management

To access the chat feature within contracts, proceed to the ‘Details’ page of the desired Vendor.

Upon opening the details page, you will find the Notes section, providing an avenue for chat-based collaboration within the Spendflo App specific to the selected contract. By using the "@" symbol followed by the person's name, you can tag individuals and commence discussions.

Accessing the Chat feature from the Buying Dashboard:

The chat feature can be conveniently accessed directly from the Buying Dashboard page. To view conversations in which you have been tagged, simply navigate to the ‘My Conversations’ section located on the ‘Dashboard’ page.

Within this section, you will find a comprehensive overview of your ongoing and previous tags/chats. You can seamlessly join and participate in the discussion by clicking on a specific conversation.
