How to Reclaim or Downgrade Licenses?

Overview

With the Spendflo license feature, you receive recommendations for your SaaS tools and have the ability to act upon these recommendations directly within the Spendflo platform. This simplifies the process of juggling multiple applications for management, providing you with a unified console to oversee all your apps. To know more about how recommendation works, refer to the article here

In order to see recommendations and take action for your SaaS tools, you need to follow the simple steps mentioned in this article.

Navigate to Licenses

Navigate to the Licenses page from the Management Hub navigation menu, once you've arrived at the Licenses page, you'll find a list of all your integrated SaaS applications.

Review the Utilization

Upon reaching the Licenses page, you'll have the opportunity to review the usage statistics of different applications. For more in-depth information about a specific app and to take action on recommendations, simply click "View" to access the details page.

Take action on the recommendations.

On the details page, you will see the list of inactive users, their team, the reason for them to be classified as inactive, their last active date/used date. You can see the actionable buttons in the last column.

We provide different sorts of actions for each app depending on the type of integration and the permissions the app lets us access.

Downgrade: The Downgrade feature allows you to reduce the license level to either a free tier or an alternative tier offered by the application. When you select the Downgrade option, you'll be presented with the choice of which tier to downgrade the license to. Once you've made your selection, the system will automatically implement the change on the native app.

Reclaim: The reclaim option de-provisions the license from the app, this frees up the underutilized license which can be assigned to someone else or can help you make better renewal decisions from the next time
