Overview
Spendflo’s integration with Jira Service Management allows approval steps within the procurement process to initiate corresponding tickets in JSM, ensuring that approval actions are routed through your existing ITSM system. Information flows from Spendflo to JSM as part of this integration, providing stakeholders with full visibility into the approval process and maintaining consistency with internal ticketing and compliance workflows.
Pre-requisites
- Administration role is required for Jira Service Management integration
- The integration will only work on Standard and Premium plans.
- IMPORTANT: Please install the Atlassian Integration before connecting Jira Service Management. The steps to install Atlassian can be found here.
Features
- Create a service ticket in Jira Service Management from Spendflo
Here are the steps to install JSM integration:
- Go to Settings & navigate to Integrations → Available apps → Jira Service Management
- Login to your Jira Account, if not already logged in. Click Connect to start the Integration
- Review & authorize the permissions
- Integration with Jira Service Management is now successful
Important Note:
- Fields that are marked as "hidden" will not appear while mapping them during task configuration
- The mapping screen fields depend on the project’s request type, not the work type
- The user who is integrating must have Agent License for Jira Service Management. Follow the steps to enable-
Settings → User management → Users → open User-name → App access → change Jira Service Management from Customer → Agent → Save
