How to Reclaim or Downgrade Licenses?

Overview

Spendflo’s Intake to Procure solution evolutionizes SaaS license management through its automated approach. It provides real-time insights, efficient cost optimization, and streamlined license management. With this feature in place, Spendflo makes it easier to identify underutilized licenses and take action to reclaim or downgrade them.

Here's a simple guide on how to reclaim and downgrade licenses on the platform.

Reclaim Licenses

Step 1. Go to the Spendflo’s Intake to Procure platform, navigate to the “Insights” module and select “License” from the dropdown.

Step 2. This page shows the license insights table where the active, inactive and unassigned licenses are displayed. Click on “View” from the rear column for any of the applications to proceed.

Step 3. On the pop-up, the inactive users tab, and the active users tab can be seen. 

Step 4. Click on the “View” option once again to choose the “Reclaim” option to proceed.

Step 5. From the pop-up, select “Confirm” to finish the steps. However, note that this action cannot be undone.

Downgrade Licenses

Step 1. From the same licenses listing page, click on “View” from the rear column for any of the applications to proceed.

Step 2. On the pop-up, the inactive users tab, and the active users tab can be seen. 

Step 3. Click on the “View” option once again to choose the “Downgrade” option to proceed.

Step 4. A pane pop-up will appear on the right side to proceed with the downgrade steps.

Step 5. Click on the role to downgrade the select to, and click on “Downgrade license” CTA below to complete the steps.
