App insights details page

Overview

The App Insights Details page in Spendflo provides a comprehensive view of an application’s usage, team engagement, and risk levels within your organization. This page consolidates essential metrics like user engagement, team distribution, access risk, and application sources, allowing administrators to monitor app usage, optimize license allocation, and evaluate application security. The details page also displays user activity, categorized by last accessed date, team assignments, and associated access risks.

Users can land on this page by navigating from Insights —> Apps —> clicking on any individual application. This holistic view simplifies the management of app usage, helping you make informed decisions about resource allocation, and renewals.

Here are the key components of the app insights details page  -

Component

Description

1. Overview Panel - This is displayed on the left pane of the details page, where the following details of the application are captured.

The vendor information displays the app’s vendor’s name and website.

Shows the number of users associated with the app.

Indicates the app's primary category based on the application’s use or the team which uses the app. (e.g., YouTube Advertising is a Social Media Advertising Software).

Identifies the app owner within your organization. The owner details are editable directly from the left pane.

Highlights the security risk associated with the app, ranked as Low, Medium, or High.

Details how application data is collected, including SSO providers and transaction integrations.

Lists teams using the app, providing a breakdown of usage by department.

2. User Engagement Chart: This contains the monthly user activity’s graph widget with insights on the user engagement over the past six months, showing active users per month.

3. Teams Distribution: Visualizes team distribution across different departments, providing insights into which teams rely most on the app.

4. Users Tab: The users tab contains each user's name, email, assigned team, last accessed date, source, and access risk. This information is specific to the selected application only. Users can also leverage the export option, which allows exporting of user data to a CSV for further analysis or reporting.

5. Sentiment Tab : The sentiment tab showcases the results of the sentiment surveys launched from the platform and the option to launch a new sentiment survey. This information is specific to the selected application only. Users can also leverage the export option, which allows exporting of sentiment data to a CSV for further analysis or reporting.

The metrics show the overall sentiment score, the score breakdown to Detractors, Passives, and Promoters, and the critical percentages of responders who categorized the app as critical.

6.  Similar Products Tab: This tab showcases other similar apps used within the organization. The similar products section is to primarily identify duplicate users and consolidation opportunities
