Spendflo connects with GitHub to provide you with information on its license and role info, provide de-provisioning capabilities, and help you optimize your SaaS cost.

Features and Limitations

  • See different GitHub license types and their utilization within Spendflo
  • Reclaim and offboard unused licenses of GitHub from within Spendflo
  • Iron out deleted users from HRMS integration and reclaim their GitHub licences
  • Send the in-activity report directly from the Spendflo app to any email address.

  • Emails need to be enabled in GitHub for better connectivity with Spendflo
  • Admin Access is required to create this integration
  • Populates data only from 24 hours before the connection, so as & when users make changes, the active users will be identified.

Read org and team membership, read org projects
 Read all user profile data

Steps to install the integration.

Navigate to the Spendflo Integrations page

First, navigate to the Spendflo integrations page from Settings>Management Hub>Integrations>Available Apps. Then locate the GitHub app from the app list and click connect

Review Permissions

Once you click the "Connect" button, a new window will appear. If you haven't already logged in, you'll be prompted to sign in to your GitHub account. Review the permissions, and then proceed to click the "Connect" button.

Authorize the App

In the next screen, you'll see the access API authorization that will be required to complete the GitHub integration. Review and authorize the app.

Select the Organization

In the next screen, you'll be redirected to choose the org you want to connect, in case you have multiple orgs in your GitHub instance. Select the org from the dropdown and click save.

Integration is successful

After selecting the organization, the integrations screen will close and you'll see the successful prompt on the Spendflo screen. The data will start populating on the License page

Now that you have integrated with Github, click here to see how you can make the best use of the features.
