Calculation of Sentiment Score
On a scale of 0-10, if a user give a score of
- >7 - It is a promoter
- 6-7 - it is passive
- <6 - it is a detractor
Sentiment Score (%) = Percentage of promoters - percentage of detractors
For instance if a survey is sent to 50 people and the response is as below:
- Promoters - 35 (70%)
- Neutral - 7 (14%)
- Detractors - 5 (10%)
- Not answered = 3 (6%)
The Sentiment Score = 70-10 = 60%
